The Fibonacci Sequence in Creation

The Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144…) appears throughout the natural world:

Where	Pattern
Sunflower heads	Seeds spiral in Fibonacci numbers (34 and 55 spirals, or 55 and 89)
Pine cones	8 spirals one way, 13 the other
Nautilus shells	Growth follows logarithmic spiral approaching the golden ratio
Flower petals	Lilies have 3, buttercups 5, delphiniums 8, marigolds 13, daisies 21 or 34
Galaxies	Spiral arms follow logarithmic curves rooted in Fibonacci geometry
DNA molecule	The double helix measures 34 angstroms long by 21 angstroms wide per full cycle: 34/21 approximates phi

The theological question: If the same mathematical sequence appears in flowers, galaxies, and DNA, is this evidence of a Designer, or simply a property of efficient growth? The traditions represented in this document would answer “yes” to both — the design IS the Designer’s signature.
