Combat Profile
Abyss Rebellion
Ruha and Yushamin shatter divine order in a localized realm, inverting light into shadow and temporarily corrupting the faithful within their domain.
Fallen Authority
As defiant beings cast from the celestial hierarchy, they siphon power from chaos and suffering, growing stronger when sacred laws are broken.
THE INVERSION COMPLETE: In Christianity, the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, sanctifier and revealer of God’s will. In Mandaean theology, Ruha is demonic, corrupt, the source of the illusion that matter is good or sacred (Divan Abatur). She rules the seven heavens (the planetary spheres) and is identified with the Archons — the blind forces that trap souls in matter (Şinasi Gündüz).
Ruha is the spirit of sexuality and biological generation — the mechanism by which new souls are born into the material prison. She is the mother of demons and illusions. Mandaean priests teach that souls trapped in Ruha’s sphere remain bound to endless cycles of birth and death. The goal of gnosis is to escape her domain and ascend to the World of Light.
Yushamin is the primordial rebel — a being who rose against the authority of Hayyi Rabbi and was swiftly, completely defeated. Unlike Satan in Western theology, who retains power and continues to tempt, Yushamin is broken, diminished, confined to the lowest depths. His punishment is eternal and stands as deterrent.
Yushamin embodies the futility of opposing the World of Light. All attempts to escape gnosis, to remain in matter, to serve darkness are futile in the end. Even the powerful Ruha and her archons will be subjected to the ultimate triumph of the World of Light.
