| Key Act | Received Elijah's mantle and "double portion" of his spirit; parted the Jordan; healed Naaman's leprosy; multiplied oil for the widow; raised the Shunammite's son; made an axe head float; even his bones raised a dead man (2 Kings 13:21) |

Jesus cited Jonah’s 3 days in the fish as the sign of His own death and resurrection (Matt 12:40). The only “sign” He offered.
Called as a youth: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jer 1:5). Preached for decades and was ignored. Lived to see everything he warned about come true.
Performed roughly twice as many miracles as Elijah (the “double portion”). His bones resurrected a dead man — the only posthumous miracle of a prophet in Scripture.
